This new offering from the Posadas group, Mexico’s largest hotel operator, opened in June 2017 as part of the brand new shopping complex La Isla. The 144-room hotel is built to cater to growing market of business travellers to the city due to the growth in the MICE market.

With an open-air pool and bar, restaurant, sizeable rooms, reasonable cab fare to the downtown and reasonable room rates, it may cater to leisure clients who don’t want an all-inclusive experience, but also don’t want to give up the comforts that a new chain hotel can offer.

For shoppers, the attached mall is Puerto Vallarta’s luxury shopping centre with 45 shops, a food court and children’s entertainment complex. The open-air mall opened in December 2016 and has international stores and Mexican favourites and will soon include a casino and nightclub.
