Don’t forget about Europe in winter, says Transat

MONTREAL — Winter in Europe is becoming increasingly attractive to Canadians, says Transat, which is why the company is highlighting its winter Europe program.

Transat winter Europe programFeaturing a vast selection of accommodations that allows for many types of holidays, the program includes apartments with kitchenettes in the city centre, seaside resorts with or without meals included and charming hotels. For more independent clients, à la carte visits can also be added to various packages.

Always big sellers, Transat has packages to Paris and London, which are offered year-round by Air Transat’s daily flights. This winter, travellers can fly direct from Montreal to Malaga (Spain), Paris and Lisbon. From Toronto, direct flights allow clients to discover Faro, Lisbon and Porto in Portugal, as well as London, Glasgow and Manchester in the United Kingdom.

Lastly, Air Transat will continue its domestic flight program between Montreal and Toronto this winter, expanding its offer of transatlantic destinations available from these cities, thanks to connecting flights.

As for the advantage of booking with Transat, travellers who book a holiday of more than 14 nights to Malaga, Lisbon or Faro will benefit from a baggage allowance of 32kg. Plus, a Transat destination representative will be available to those who holiday in the Costa del Sol. For all other destinations, clients can call a toll-free number for assistance at any time.

Transat currently has an EBB for Winter Europe packages, for travel between Nov. 1, 2017 and April 28, 2018. Clients who book their Europe package by Oct. 2, 2017 will benefit from a reduced deposit of only $100 per person, a $50 future travel voucher, and a 30% discount on seat selection (applies to standard seats only, and must be selected by Oct. 31).
