Disney’s drone footage of Star Wars land is incredible

ANAHEIM — The Force is gaining strength in Anaheim, where drone footage of the hugely anticipated Star Wars land has just been released.

The short video gives a bird’s eye view of ‘Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge’, which is currently in construction and scheduled to open at Disneyland in 2019. Another Star Wars themed land will debut later that same year at Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World in Florida.

According to Disney, Star Wars will be one of the most detailed and immersive lands in Disney Parks history. Upon completion, Galaxy’s Edge will span 14 acres, will resemble a remote trading port on the edge of space, and will be divided into two difference sections: one dedicated to the First Order, and the other to the Resistance.

Judging by the aerial footage, Galaxy’s Edge will not only be enormous, it will also be spectacular. We’re getting closer to reaching that galaxy far, far away and we can’t wait!
