Billy Bishop Airport just had its busiest spring on record

TORONTO — This past spring was Billy Bishop Airport’s busiest ever, with a record-breaking 701,573 passengers arriving and departing from March to May 2019.

Record monthly passenger levels were recorded each month, including 257,614 passengers in May alone, surpassing the previous year’s spring numbers by a record 23,000.

In total, Billy Bishop serviced 2,807,208 business and leisure travellers in 2018 and is Canada’s ninth busiest airport.
