Avoya’s top Independent Agencies hosted on award trip with Holland America

An elite group of agents from B.C., Nova Scotia and Ontario were recognized with Avoya Travel’s annual ‘Best of the Best’ awards.

One of those Canadian agents, B.C. travel agent Shawn Power, also received Avoya’s Chairman’s Club award last year, for producing more than $3 million in annual sales, Avoya’s highest ‘Best of the Best’ honour.

Avoya Travel celebrated the sales success of its top selling independent agencies in the Avoya Travel Network with its recent ‘Best of the Best’ Independent Agency recognition award trip onboard Holland America Line’s Eurodam.

The Best of the Best trip awarded a record number of Independent Agencies that achieved more than US$1 million in 2016 sales, says the host agency.

The number of Independent Agencies in the Avoya Travel Network reaching $1 million in sales had double-digit growth from 2015.

The seven-night Western Caribbean cruise included port of call Ocho Rios, where the Jamaica Tourist Board personally greeted the Avoya Network members as they disembarked.

“Participating in Avoya’s Best of the Best Recognition Award Trip was extraordinary for my business, from the exclusive Holland America education to invaluable networking with Avoya executives and top Independent Agencies,” said Abbey Mopsick, owner of the Chicago-area Abbey’s World Travel LLC. “I’m already excited and motivated to reach sales goals I’ve set for next year’s reward trip.”
