FT. LAUDERDALE — Avoya Travel has promoted Ashley Hunter to Vice President of Business Development.

In her new role, Hunter will be responsible for growing supplier partnerships in order to continue generating record-breaking performance for Avoya and its preferred suppliers. She has more than 11 years of leadership experience at Avoya, during which she fostered close working relationships with preferred suppliers and the Independent Agencies in the Avoya Network.

“Ashley has long been one of Avoya Travel’s most talented leaders improving everything she touches, and we’re confident that her proven ability to deliver results as well as her extensive experience within the travel industry will make her a stand-out executive at Avoya and with our preferred suppliers,” said Jeff Anderson, Executive Vice President, Avoya Travel. “Avoya Travel is committed to the growth of its people and the Independent Agencies in the Avoya Travel Network, and we’re confident in the executive leadership we have in place to further innovate and grow the company and the Avoya Travel Network.”

Since joining the company in 2006, Hunter has been influential in expansion and innovation within many departments, including channel marketing, events, public relations and corporate communications, and most recently business and sales development.

Hunter’s promotion follows Avoya’s best-ever sales year and Avoya Network growth in 2017, and the company continues to break sales records in 2018.
