TORONTO — American Express Global Business Travel (GBT) has announced Patrick Doyle as its new Vice President and General Manager for Canada.

In his new role, Doyle will oversee the commercial relationships in the region and manage a team of professionals that helps serve key Canadian clients. He’ll also be accountable for driving client retention and acquisition strategies in the region through service, product and marketing strategies, and will oversee all Canadian clients to elevate GBT’s strong presence in Canadian business travel.

Over the course of his 15-year career with GBT, Doyle has served clients in over 20 countries. Prior to his current position, he held various leadership roles with both the Global Payments and Corporate Quality Groups at American Express. In addition, he has a proven track record of leading programs that consistently demonstrate value to shareholders and stakeholders.
