Allianz Global Assistance has named Susan Lawson the newest member of its Business Development team. Over her more than 20-year career, she has successfully managed a full range of travel and tourism responsibilities on both the wholesale and retail sides of the business. During her time as Director of National Accounts at Club Med and General Manager Ontario at Air Canada Vacations, Lawson lead teams of regional Business Development Managers and inside sales support staff, and introduced a wide range of innovative business development strategies and training initiatives. She also worked with two large independent retail travel organizations, where her knowledge of travel products, eye on the bottom line and focus on keeping the customer at the centre of all business decisions made her a valuable member of their senior management teams, said Allianz Global Assistance which recently merged with TIC Travel Insurance Coordinators.
