Alitours’ new 2017 Europe brochure now available

Alitours’ new 2017 Europe brochure now availableTORONTO — For the first time in over 22 years Alitours has combined its destinations in one easy-to-read brochure featuring journey suggestions with day-by-day itineraries. All tours and packages are completely customizable.

“Our mission has and will always be to sell and share ‘experiences’, not to simply sell a package,” says Tony Veca, Owner, Alitours. “Right from the booking process agents can rest assured they’re getting insider knowledge from a local. The destinations are our staff’s homelands. We not only provide excellent accommodation, but we provide tips and guides and ‘need-to-know’ info that would simply take hours and maybe years of reading guidebooks, looking at maps and cruising the web.”

Alitours also provides guests with 24 hour dedicated concierge service while in destination, “which is exactly why agents and clients can feel confident in booking, knowing they are taken care of from beginning to the end.”

What does 2017 look like for Alitours? New venues for weddings and vow renewals include free nights when booking a ceremony package. Alitours saw a 40% increase of 40% in honeymoons last year and has expanded its honeymoon packages to include more private activities such as dinner with a view, cookery demonstration, horse-buggy rides in Rome, Vespa tours in Tuscany, visits to Romeo and Juliet’s ‘hometown’ of Verona, gondola ride complete with serenade in Venice, a romantic boat ride in lake Como, a visit to Capri with a swim in the grotto, or – why not – the chance to drive a Ferrari.

Of course these add-ons are not simply for the honeymoon couple, but for any clients to enjoy, and may be added in any custom tour or itineraries. Alitours reached a 37% increase in its ‘FIT ME’ packages last year, with a rise in its Fly/Drive options program.

Meanwhile due to popular demand in the corporate and group department last year, cruise options are now offered in three tiers for different budgets. Three, four and five-star options include private transfers to and from the pier or airport, two nights’ accommodation (consecutive or not), breakfast and a choice of a city tour.

Alitours has also developed a new focus on mini combination tours of Tuscany and Cinque Terre that can be easily added to/from the  south, and with new departure from Venice and Florence.

The Azzurro tour starts in Venice and includes the lakes (Como, Bellagio, etc.) and the Amalfi Coast and ends in Rome, and is priced from $1,429 per person, double occupancy for five nights. The Harmonia tour starts and ends in Rome and involves Tuscany, Cinque Terre and the Amalfi Coast, from $1,690 for seven days. The Radiance tour starts in Venice and ends in Florence, and includes the lakes, Tuscany and Cinque Terre in nine days from $2,109. To order copies of the brochure see alitours.com/brochure.
