TORONTO — Air Canada Vacations has made a new senior team appointment for Western Canada.

Paula Rizos moves into the capacity of General Manager, Sales Western Canada, effective immediately. Rizos reports directly to Amr Younes, Vice President, Sales, Air Canada Vacations, and will be based out of the Air Canada sales office in Vancouver.

In her new role as General Manager, Sales Western Canada, Rizos will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to maximize Air Canada Vacations’ market share and revenue in the region.

Rizos brings with her over 25 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry. She cultivated her knowledge and expertise in the Western region through previous experience at Canadian Holidays and, most recently, as Commercial Director, Western Canada at Transat Tours Canada.
