TORONTO — The Globus family of brands has just unveiled a comprehensive offering of vacations to exotic parts of the world. “At Globus, we see an increasing demand for destinations that just a few years ago would have been considered beyond the average traveller’s reach,” says Stéphanie Bishop, managing director for the Global family of brands in Canada. “So we’re delighted to help meet that need, and happy to bring our worldwide buying power to the process.” As part of the company’s 2011 vacation offerings, Globus has unveiled several new vacations to exotic destinations. Globus is returning to Africa in 2011 and encouraging travellers to search for the ‘Big 5’ (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and Cape buffalo) with two new tours: Kenya & Tanzania: The Safari Experience and Great Parks of Africa. The company is also unveiling two new Asia tours for 2011: Visions of Asia and Intriguing China & Tibet. Globus’ new Intriguing China & Tibet vacation is part of the company’s Small-Group Discovery series in Asia: A new program limits tours to 20 travellers. Globus offers five Small-Group Discovery tours in Asia and India. “We really strive to deliver what this new generation of travellers wants, by way of engaging lectures in each destination as well as VIP access and no waiting in line at key sights,” said Bishop. To celebrate its exotic vacations, Globus is providing travellers several early-booking incentives of up to $700 off per couple. Visit www.globusjourneys.ca for more information.
