Finnair to reopen direct flight from Toronto to Helsinki in May Print E-mail

TORONTO — This spring, Finnair will reintroduce scheduled flights between Toronto and Helsinki with connections to over 50 destinations in Europe and 10 destinations in Asia.

The nonstop flight between Toronto Pearson International Airport and Helsinki Airport will fly five days a week beginning May 24. Finnair is also offering spring roundtrip fares starting from $965 from Toronto to Helsiniki valid for travel May 1-June 25. Other destinations include Copenhagen, Stockholm, Moscow, Prague, Warsaw, Budapest, Bangkok, Seoul, Delhi, Hong Kong and Beijing.

In addition, Finnair will open a new direct route from Helsinki to Chongqing, the largest and fastest-growing city in China and Finnair’s 11th scheduled flight destination to Asia. The direct route from Helsinki to Chongqing will begin in May 2012 and operate four times a week with Finnair’s Airbus A340 aircraft.
