As a Goway Destination Specialist to one of our exotic travel destinations, you will join a dedicated team of passionate travellers and sales experts. The Destination Specialist position would fit into one of Goway’s specialist brands:

Working in Toronto, or @home in Canada or the U.S. using Goway’s sales system and technology, you would support and service customer enquiries provided by Goway.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Convert and close inquiries into sales
  • Manage Goway’s current travel agent account relationships and maximize the potential return
  • Create customized travel itineraries encompassing air and land arrangements
  • Manage files from inquiry stage, follow up, closing the sale, processing the reservation to final release of documentation
  • Utilize supplier tariffs and special contracts
  • Utilize communication vehicles to promote Goway product and services – email, advertising, company newsletter, phone, etc.
  • Train travel agents on Goway’s products & services

Location: Toronto – 3284 Yonge St. Toronto ON M4N 3M7

Wage: $43,500 – $53,500

Reporting to: Reservations Manager and General Manager.

Skills Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in travel industry
  • Proven superior selling skills
  • Ability to work with sales targets and motivated by the opportunity to earn commission
  • Ability to work shifts with rotating Saturdays
  • Proficient with GDS, preferably Amadeus and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Team player with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Latin America and Europe destination experience is an asset


  • Diploma in Travel and Tourism or Equivalent

  • Promote service. You will communicate our products and dedication to service through email, telephone, and online chat.
  • Exercise accuracy. You will shepherd files from the inception stage during enquiry, through follow-up and feedback, quote management, and completion until the reservation is processed and the documents are released.
  • Build relationships. You will draw on your appetite for personal relationships to forge long-lasting connections with your customers, creating referrals and repeat business while delivering the best in travel.
  • Represent integrity. You will represent our interests and Goway values throughout your day, and at trade shows, travel seminars, consumer markets, and any professional venues.
