The Memories Azul Beach Resort in Santa Clara, Cuba is definitely one of the best resorts in Cuba I have ever been too. Although listed as a 5 star, I would give it a true 4.5 star rating.

It’s amazing how travel tastes change over the years. Ten years ago I would’ve balked at the suggestion of an all-inclusive getaway (what do you mean I just lie here on a beach all day?!) but now that I’m a little older and preoccupied with such pressing matters as mortgage payments and editorial deadlines, there’s nothing I want more in life than a few tan lines and tasty margaritas.
