The inaugural launch of Classical Pops, a two day music festival at Apes Hill Club. Opening with Irvin Mayfield and the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra, the festival featured Maestro Thomas Wilkins conducting an all-star orchestra created from members of the New York Philharmonic, Atlanta Symphony, Boston Symphony, Toronto Symphony Orchestra, Canadian Opera Company Orchestra and the Kitchener-Waterloo Orchestra.

And for race fans, Barbados hosted the Race of Champions at Bushy Park, a two day competition of some of the world’s best race car drivers as well as demonstrations of car and motorcycle tricks and skills.
