2. A daily dose of the landscape and history was a welcome experience as we travelled the west coast. With a visit to the town of Kilkenny, the epicentre of hurling, our tour learned about the Irish sport that combines skills seen in soccer, rugby and cricket into one unique sport, before a visit to the medieval Kilkenny Castle and gardens.
