TORONTO — Porter Airlines is increasing weekday roundtrip flights to six from five between Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport and Boston’s Logan International Airport, beginning Oct. 12.

The addition of this flight doubles Porter’s Toronto-Boston service from its original 2009 schedule allowing greater same-day business travel flexibility and offering leisure travellers a wider range of departure options.

“Boston is one of our strongest markets,” said Robert Deluce, president and CEO of Porter Airlines. “By adapting to meet this increasing demand, we are continuing to provide the level of service and convenience that our customers have come to expect.”

The new service will depart Toronto at 8:55 a.m. and return from Boston at 11:15 a.m.

The weekend schedule remains at two Saturday roundtrips and five on Sunday.

This additional service also improves the number of available connecting flights to destinations such as Quebec City, Montreal, Ottawa, Thunder Bay, Windsor, Sault Ste. Marie and Sudbury.
