It’s hard to work efficiently when you don’t have the right tools. Transat Distribution Canada (TDC) says it wants to make sure its agents are at the top of their game with new technology from TravelWorks.

TDC says it has chosen the management and accounting software of TravelWorks for all of its owned agencies plus its network of home-based agents. The major rollout, now underway, follows the signing of a five-year agreement.

“We want to provide our travel consultants with the most effective and efficient work tools,” says Nathalie Boyer, General Manager, TDC.

“We especially appreciate the user-friendliness of the invoicing module, the interfaces, and the online accessibility of the data that agents and managers need, wherever in Canada they may be.”

The tools meet the needs of TDC agencies in several provinces, a network of home-based agents, a call centre and a virtual agency, all within a single accounting product, adds Jean Corneau, Chief Technology Officer and Chief Operating Officer, TravelWorks.

The company’s software solution is also used by many of the TDC network’s franchisee and affiliate agencies.

The TDC network now spans more than 400 locations, comprising brick-and-mortar travel agencies, websites, a call centre, and home-based professional travel agents. The network includes the Transat Travel, Marlin Travel, Club Voyages, TravelPlus and Voyages en Liberté brands, as well as other affiliate members.
