This island just offered Kawhi Leonard a free vacation if he re-signs with the Raptors

TORONTO — The offers keep on comin’ for Toronto Raptors’ Kawhi Leonard, who’s being inundated with free perks and swag in hopes of enticing him to re-sign with the team.

The 27-year-old superstar forward, who’s up for free agency at the end of the Raptors’ history-making playoff run, has already been offered a $4.7 million luxury penthouse at the Four Seasons, St. Regis or Ritz-Carlton residences, complimentary meals at dozens of restaurants and bars across Toronto, and even free Kraft dinner for life from the good people at Kraft Heinz Co.

And the latest? An ultra-glam trip to sunny Barbados, courtesy of Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc. (BTMI).

“We have been intrigued by the energy and feel-good factor generated by the Raptors this season – culminating in their ascent to the ongoing NBA Finals,” said Peter Mayers, Director of BTMI in Canada. “We couldn’t think of a better way to share Barbados’ love for Toronto and the entire country. Kawhi truly deserves the Barbados experience and we look forward to welcoming him post-season.”

The offer will be hard to pass up as it includes return flights strictly from Toronto as well as luxury accommodations at the world-class Port Ferdinand Marina and Luxury Residences, an exclusive collection of 46 luxury homes for purchase or rental, each with its own yacht berth. Luxury homes range from 2,500 square feet for a two-bedroom marina view residence, to 6,100 square feet for a four-bedroom ocean and marina view penthouse.

All this could be his – if only he extends his contract with the Raps.

“With year-round sunshine, tropical breezes and crystal blue waters, Barbados is the perfect destination for Canadian visitors looking to escape the rigid Canadians seasons,” added Mayers. “A visit to the island is a dream experience marked by relaxation and a chance to recharge and reconnect, perfect for a basketball superstar like Kawahi Leonard.”

The Toronto Raptors will next face off against the Golden State Warriors tomorrow night in Game 6 of the NBA Finals. Go Raps go!
