BARBADOS — Sandals has scored a ‘hole’ in one with its latest fun offering: an artisanal donut shop at Sandals Royal Barbados.

As the brand’s first-ever donut shop, and the only donut-only eatery at any all-inclusive resort in the Caribbean, ‘Sweet n’ Salty’s Gourmet Donuts & Coffee’ hits all the sweet notes. Urging guests to ‘Donut Worry & Be Happy’, the shop offers an assortment of confectionary delights, from traditional cake donuts with strawberry icing, to a special S’mores variety featuring melted marshmallow and graham cracker crumbs.

Want something a bit more adventurous? Sandals has got you covered with the Yuzu Kazi donut, which combines yuzu icing, sushi rice and shredded nori. And for those who want to sample the sweet flavours of the Caribbean, definitely try the Coco Loco donut, a delectable treat that infuses the flavours of coconut, jerk and pineapple compote.

Sweet ‘n Salty’s is open daily from 7 a.m. (a perfect breakfast option) to 10 p.m. (for a sweet late-night snack). There’s also a long list of tasty beverages to complement the menu, like gourmet lattes, cappuccinos and international specialty blends.
