TravelOnly agents, suppliers honoured at annual gala

TORONTO — TravelOnly held its third annual Achievements & Distinction Awards gala at the Toronto Airport Marrriott Hotel this past week.

Surrounded by its top producing members and loyal supplier partners, TravelOnly also took the chance to mark its 45th anniversary under the ownership and direction of the Luciani family.

Lindsay Pearlman, Co-President of Ensemble Travel Group, addressed the gathering, letting everyone know that TravelOnly travel agents had been in Ensemble’s Top 10 in the eight years that the two companies have been working together.

Platinum sponsor Transat recognized Amanda Beaver as TravelOnly’s top producer for Transat and Platinum sponsor Celebrity Cruises named top producers Patrick Probert and Mary deAlmeida as Celebrity Ambassadors of the Year.

Celebrity Cruise representatives updated attendees with news about Celebrity’s newest ship, Celebrity Edge, as well as facelifts to the Millennium Class and Solstice class ships. The cruise line also confirmed that Celebrity Flora will begin sailing to the Galapagos in May 2019.

The evening wrapped up with the naming of this year’s President’s Club members. To qualify for membership, agents had to meet pre-established criteria for total sales, sales to preferred suppliers and total earnings. The President’s Club for this year comprises 13 members, up three from last year.
