Oahu hotels will be back better than ever following renovations

Several Oahu hotels have committed to several enhancements to provide guests a refreshed and more comfortable experience.

The White Sands Hotel, for example, will be relaunching in February 2019 after undergoing a full restoration to its original 1960s glory. As one of Waikiki’s only remaining walk-up hotels, White Sands will be a funky, fun return to the Hawaii that everyone remembers, with a lush garden and pool courtyard oasis, a bar-adjacent hot tub, as well as elevated 1960s throwback dishes.

Also announcing updates is the Waikiki Beachcomber by Outrigger, which will unveil its newly-styled property featuring a revamped porte cochére and pool deck. In addition, brand new rooms will feature local artist Zak Noyle’s underwater photo mural, while acclaimed singer and composer Makana will grace the lobby with his island acoustic sounds. To celebrate the new upgrades, the hotel will offer the Beachcomber Experience Package, which includes a daily US$50 resort credit for Maui Brewing Co. Waikiki, daily valet parking and rides on the Waikiki Connection Trolley.

Lastly, the Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa has announced its newly-transformed guestrooms in the Kealohilani Tower. The reimagined interior was inspired by the bohemian lifestyle and surf culture of the legendary Waikiki Beach Boys.
