New Small Group Adventure trips from Busabout for 2019-20

TORONTO — Busabout wants to make it easy for agents to sell “the real Busabout experience,” with real past guest photography and testimonials in its new Europe 2019-20 brochure.

“We want to make it as simple as possible for agents to sell the Busabout experience to their clients, so we’ve clearly outlined the five different travel styles available to clients, and how they can be connected to create a bespoke adventure,” says Damien Bennett, VP Sales for Busabout in North America.

He adds that the new program is almost completely comprised of user-generated photography, plus, for the first time, Busabout is featuring real passenger testimonials for every existing itinerary “giving agents insight into the real and amazing experiences of our past passengers.”

Sister companies under The Travel Corporation umbrella, including Trafalgar, have started using similar techniques with their brochures, with positive results.

The newly launched program simplifies the Busabout concept by demonstrating how agents can help their clients create their own bespoke European adventure. Whether they are fiercely independent adventurers or prefer to explore like a local with a group of likeminded travellers – the Busabout travel network has something for everyone, says Bennett.

Clients who book now until Nov.16, 2018 can save up to 15% off Busabout’s ‘Unlimited Hop-on Hop-off’ pass and 10% off a selection of all other adventures, including those from Haggis and Shamrocker Adventures.

Busabout’s private coach network connects 38 top destinations across 14 European countries with the Hop-on Hop-off Travel Pass.

Once again in 2019, there are one week, two week, one month and two month Passes available, as well as an Unlimited Pass good for travel between May and October 2019.

Busabout’s new all-new Small Group Adventures are guided trips of no more than 20 people that dive deeper into top destinations on the Hop-on Hop-off coach network.

The seven new itineraries, lasting from seven to 14 days, include a dedicated guide, all accommodation, some meals and plenty of free time.

New Small Group Adventure itineraries include the nine-day Hidden Gems adventure which takes travellers hiking in the Austrian Alps, rafting in Bled and off the beaten track in Venice, and the 14-day Eastern Wanderer trip ticking off hot spots in Germany, Austria, Poland, Hungary and Croatia.

“We’re really excited to launch our first Small Group Adventures next year,” said Duncan Robertson, Global Managing Director of Busabout. “We recognized a demand for more intimate group vacations and so we responded with a collection of guided adventures of no more than 20 travellers, designed to experience a destination rather than just see it. Using our popular Hop-on Hop-off coach network to get groups from A to B, these trips are the perfect mix of must-dos and free time.”

Also back by popular demand are Busabout’s Adventures, handcrafted guided trips that explore beyond the Hop-on Hop-off coach network to European hot spots like the Iberian coast, the Balkans and Scandinavia.

Four new Adventure itineraries have been introduced in 2019: the two-day Greek Odyssey itinerary billed as the perfect sailing trip add-on, and three new trips through Spain and Portugal – the 15-day Ultimate Iberian Adventure, eight-day Iberian Highlights and eight-day Iberian Trail.

A range of Sailing & Island Hopping itineraries, including the new eight day Balkan Sailing trip from Croatia to Montenegro, a number of Winter & Ski Adventures and guided trips to Europe’s best Music & Cultural Festivals such as Sziget, Ultra and La Tomatina are also featured again.
