The latest commission change from Malaysia Airlines

TORONTO — Malaysia Airlines’ Canadian rep Discover the World has issued a commission change notice for the airline.

Effective July 1, 2018 Malaysia Airlines will move to zero commission on its codeshare flights out of Canada.

Malaysia Airlines currently has codeshares with Japan Airlines out of Vancouver via Tokyo and Emirates Airlines out of Toronto via Dubai.

All MH plated tickets sold in Canada will move to zero commission, says Discover the World.

This is the latest commission change from Malaysia Airlines. Back in May 2017 the carrier announced it would only pay commission on MH through published fares originating from Canada, which included two routes – YVR-KUL and beyond on MH JL codeshare, and YYZ-KUL and beyond on MH EK codeshare – and said it would no longer pay commissions on tickets that do not originate from Canada.
