BELLEVUE — Expedia Group has confirmed that it will offer Air France KLM flights without the GDS surcharge.

The group announced that its leisure and corporate customers in all European markets, including the U.K. and Switzerland, will not be charged the distribution surcharge levied on Air France, KLM and Hop! flights sourced through GDS. There’s no word so far on whether the new policy will expand to include North America.

With this new agreement, Expedia, ebookers and Egencia clients save €11 one way, or €22 roundtrip when booking flights on any of the three airlines.

The policy came into effect on April 1.

Moreover, Expedia Group and Air France KLM, along with its selected GDS partners, have committed to collaborate on the integration of new distribution capabilities (NDC).
