TORONTO — Porter Airlines and Porter Escapes are looking to strengthen ties with the travel trade with a new travel agent contest, offering prizes including trips for two plus thousands of VIPorter points.

Agents must register with Porter Airlines or Porter Escapes to be eligible for the contest. Agents receive one entry for each eligible Porter Airlines booking made in the GDS or on flyporter.com/agents.

Porter Escapes bookings made in the GDS or with Porter Escapes directly receive two entries.

The booking window is Sept. 25 – Oct. 31 and entries must be submitted through the Porter Airlines or Porter Escapes travel agent portal to qualify.

The two grand prizes consist of a three-night stay for two at Sheraton Broadway Plantation Resort Villas in Myrtle Beach, and a two-night stay at the newly renovated Fairmont Washington, DC in a deluxe room including breakfast. Both grand prizes include two roundtrip flights on Porter Airlines and accommodation as awarded based on double occupancy, excluding taxes and fees.

The grand prize winners will be randomly selected on Nov.15.

In addition Porter will give away five weekly prizes of 25,000 VIPorter loyalty points – that’s enough points for up to four Porter flights.

Weekly winners will be randomly selected on Oct. 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31.

To qualify travel agents must have a valid IATA/TICO number registered with Porter Airlines or Porter Escapes. For full contest rules and agent eligibility agents are asked to login to the Porter Airlines and Porter Escapes agent portal.
