Now available from Sunwing Café: Cinnamon Apple Bake

TORONTO — Sunwing is adding to its Sunwing Café menu with the introduction of new dishes inspired by Food Network Canada Celebrity Chef Lynn Crawford. The new menu options extend Sunwing’s partnership with Crawford, first launched in November 2016.

Sunwing says that based on customer feedback, the airline is now offering an all-day breakfast menu and has added a convenient online pre-ordering option, available up to 72 hours prior to departure.

The latest Sunwing Café selection of dishes includes Cinnamon Apple Bake with caramelized baked apples and cinnamon drizzle any time of the day as a meal or dessert, as well as Homestyle Shepherd’s Pie topped with mashed potatoes and white-cheddar cheese.

Additional items on the menu include: a cheese tray of havarti, cheddar, smoked gouda, green apple slices and lavash crackers; an Angus beef burger topped with cheddar cheese served on a sesame seed bun; and a new selection of beer that features Budweiser, Mill St, and Stella Artois.

The all-day breakfast menu offers a ham and cheese croissant sandwich, oatmeal with maple and brown sugar and more.

Returning favourites include the Neapolitan-style pizza, tapas box, mac and cheese, Philly Steak sandwiches and more. For younger customers, the menu will continue to feature the Kidcations snack box.

“When you travel with Sunwing, you experience an award-winning inflight service,” said Andrew Dawson, Chief Operating Officer of the Sunwing Travel Group. “We are proud of the success of our Sunwing Café featuring dishes inspired by Food Network Canada Celebrity Chef Lynn Crawford, and we are confident that these new enhancements will prove popular this season.”
