After breakfast and before dinner, there’s plenty of fun to be had! How many of the four thrill rides atop the 1,149-foot-high Stratosphere Tower can you handle? The SkyJump, the Big Shot, the X Scream and Insanity will all get your heart racing. For more adrenaline-pumping excitement, take a ride on the 67-mph roller coaster at New York-New York, or get behind the wheel in the race car of your dreams at Exotics Racing at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Take a break for lunch by dining outside for the best people-watching views (trust us, it’s worth it!). Enjoy lunch and a margarita on the patio at Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville at Flamingo Las Vegas, or catch a breathtaking view of the Bellagio fountains from Todd English’s Olives or the patio at Mon Ami Gabi at Paris Las Vegas.
In the afternoon, do a little crime solving at MGM Grand’s CSI: The Experience. This multisensory attraction puts you in the role of a crime-scene investigator as you try to solve one of three true-to-life mysteries.
Boneyard at the Neon Museum
Take in a little Las Vegas history downtown at the Mob Museum, which features interactive exhibits and artifacts that teach visitors all about the most notorious gangsters in Las Vegas. While you’re downtown, check out the Boneyard at the Neon Museum, where you’ll see iconic Las Vegas signs from the 1930s into the early ’90s. You can also have a blast at the National Atomic Testing Museum, highlighting work conducted at the Nevada Test Site and its impact on the nation.
Check out Chilean flamingos and other feathered friends at the Flamingo Wildlife Habitat or see more than 300 interactive exhibits that tell the story of Las Vegas’ past, present and future at Springs Preserve.
Red Rock Canyon Conservation Area
If spending time in the great outdoors is on your must-do list, head out to Red Rock Canyon Conservation Area, featuring more than 30 miles of hiking trails, rock climbing, horseback riding and picnic areas; or take a quick drive to Mount Charleston in the scenic Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest for a cool afternoon hike. Explore the Southwest with a guided Pink Jeep Tour, take an afternoon cruise on Lake Mead or stroll around the beautiful Lake Las Vegas.
Go clubbing – golf, that is. Take aim at the indoor glow-in-the-dark, KISS-themed miniature golf course, or challenge your friends to a quick par-3 round at the TaylorMade Golf Experience across from Town Square on Las Vegas Boulevard.
