PORTLAND, ME — Auto Europe is offering free car class upgrades this spring in many European countries including Italy, France, Germany and the United Kingdom.

This limited time promotion gives customers more space without paying more for their rental, and applies to vehicles picked up between April 7-16. For example, clients booking a compact, manual, four-door vehicle in Italy will receive a free upgrade to an intermediate-sized vehicle, a savings of over US$40 for a weekly rental.

“We introduced this limited time offer in an effort to help travel agents meet the needs of their clients, mainly families and groups, that will be traveling this spring and will require more space,” said Robert Ardino, Auto Europe’s Vice President of Sales. “Our upgrades are guaranteed at time of booking. This unique offer is possible because of the strategic partnerships we’ve developed with key suppliers such as Hertz and Europcar.”

Upgrades are available in Italy, France, Germany, the U.K., Switzerland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark. In addition to a free upgrade, Auto Europe offers a free portable GPS rental with any car category for the duration of the rental. Each unit is pre-programmed in English with up-to-date maps of the destination.
