MIAMI — Starting in 2022 Norwegian Cruise line will take delivery of four brand new 3,300-passenger ships, with one new ship every year for the next four years, plus an option for two additional ships to be delivered in 2026 and 2027.

NCL’s parent company Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. signed off on the deal with Fincantieri S.p.A. The contract price for the four vessels is approximately Cdn$4.45 billion.

The new class of ships will build on the brand’s most recent Breakaway-Plus Class ships.  NCLH says details on the ships’ “many innovative guest facing and first at sea features” will be announced at a later date.
